BLACK DECKER Electric Hedge Trimmer, 22-Inch (BEHT350)

I haven’t had this trimmer very long but so far it works great. I’ve made a start on trimming my hedges and bushes, some of them were more overgrown that I liked and needed to be cut back severely. In situations like this, the trimmer needs to cut through some thicker branches and it is doing a much better job than I had expected. Once my hedges are back to the size that I want, it will be easy to trim the new growth and keep them that way!Some people have complained about the safety feature of needing to hold the “trigger” while operating. I like that as I’m not afraid of having an accident. I’m a 77 year old woman and need to take lots of breaks while doing things like trimming the hedges. I can just release the trigger and put the hedge trimmer down anywhere while I go sit down myself……don’t need to worry about turning it off! I’m not the steadiest on my feet anymore and if I lose my balance and perhaps drop the trimmer on a bush or whatever, it shuts off…..I like that. :)This item came promptly and was well protected in its original manufacturer’s box inside of an Amazon box. The handle and safety shield had to be attached but that was easy. Now I hope that it holds up and keeps working for a long time!
