Amana NTW4519JW 3.8 Cu. Ft. White High Efficiency Top Load Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I complain about the Lid Lock, I do like the water saver and the size and the extra rinse. My repairman recommended the Amana because he is like me, the simpler the better. Amana is an old name and is made by Whirlpool. Ask me 10 years from now if I still like it and it is still working. That is the true test. I had a wonderful Whirlpool washer that lasted for 15 years, so I am having to get used to the models that tell me what to do instead of me telling it what to do. When I opened my old Whirlpool, the spinning stopped. I hate the lid lock. I could open my old machine anytime I chose. I am older and do not like all the safety items when people should still have common sense.
