Design Engineering 010409 Aluminized 0.75″ x 6″ Plug Wire Sheath for Ultimate Heat Protection (Pack of 4)

I was having a problem with my plug wire getting burned on my 5.3L silverado with pacesetter type long tubes. They are the old style with the number #5 tube kicked out for clearance. I was using normal braided covers for years until they got wet and burned through. I bought these and a set of JBA W08559 wires only to find out the plug ends on the wires are to wide to slip these over. I sliced two down the middle and wrapped the #5 wire then put the burn braided sleeve over those. Not a single issue since then.
