SM2000 Dry Ice Blasting Machine, 44 lbs Dry Ice Hopper, Handheld Control Spray Gun, 5 Nozzles

I bought this for an auto repair/customization shop to experiment with cleaning cars and engines. I was very impressed with the machine itself and its accessories. My dry-ice supplier looked it over and called it “decent” which is a complement considering his machines cost $10K .Note that dry-ice machines need a HUGE air compressor; even this one needs a 25HP – 30HP compressor to run it with a 100% duty cycle. (Needs 100 CFM at 100 PSI.) Your average auto repair shop likely has a 5HP or perhaps 10HP compressor and these are not enough. Your little Home Depot or HF compressor won’t even start it. It requires a 3/4″ hose and connection to the 25HP compressor with a dryer. Therefore, you likely need to budget another $10K for even a used 25HP compressor.
